FAQ

Fair questions.

Short answers, no fine print.

Is it really free?

Yes. No account, no card, no catch. Swipe, get your pick, go play.

What if I haven’t played the games in the test?

Doesn’t matter. React to the vibe — the art, the genre, the one-liner. We’re measuring your taste, not your backlog.

Where do the picks come from?

Every morning we pull Steam’s new and trending releases from the last 60 days and keep only the ones players rate at least 75% positive. Then we score each against your 10 swipes, using the tags players gave those games, and show you the best matches with the reasons.

How often will you email me?

Once a week, on Fridays — only new releases, never a game we already sent you. Or pick “Just now” when you unlock: you get all your matches, one email with the list, and no subscription. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and we never sell your address.

Do I need to connect my Steam account?

No — it’s optional. If you link it (official Steam sign-in, we never see your password), we skip games you already own or wishlisted and learn from what you actually play. Your game list must be public in Steam. Disconnect any time and we delete that data.

Is addwl part of Steam or Valve?

No. addwl is an independent project. We just send you to each game’s official Steam page.
