The service

addwl recommends new Steam games based on a 10-swipe quiz. It’s free, and you don’t need an account. You need to be at least 13 years old to use it.

Picks are suggestions

We match games to your answers using Steam tags and player reviews, but we can’t promise you’ll love every pick. Prices, discounts, reviews, Steam Deck status and availability come from Steam and can change at any time. Check the Steam store page before you buy. We don’t sell games: any purchase happens on Steam, under Steam’s own terms.

addwl is an independent project. It isn’t endorsed by or affiliated with Valve Corporation. Steam and the Steam logo are trademarks and/or registered trademarks of Valve Corporation in the U.S. and/or other countries. Game titles, artwork and descriptions belong to their respective owners, and we show them only to help you find those games.

Emails

If you leave your email, we send you your list, and your Friday picks if you chose them. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. Please only use an email address that’s yours.

Connecting Steam

Connecting Steam is optional and uses Steam’s official sign-in. You can disconnect any time from your results page. Your Steam account itself stays under Steam’s terms.

Fair use

Please don’t:

• scrape the site or send automated requests at scale;
• try to get around rate limits or break our security;
• sign up other people or use the contact form to send spam;
• use addwl for anything illegal.

We may block access that breaks these rules.

Our stuff

The addwl name, design, text and code are ours. Sharing your results and links to addwl is always welcome.

No warranty

addwl is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We may change, pause or stop any part of the service at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, addwl isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for anything you buy based on a recommendation.

How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll change the date at the top when we do. If you keep using addwl after a change, that means you accept the new terms.
